why hasn't Mazda kicked out an MS2 to compete with the FiST? Wonder if they're waiting for the new MS3 to drop perhaps.

Because Mazda sells exponentially fewer cars than Ford. So while Ford can make a business case for 2 hot hatches that somewhat overlap with each other, Mazda can't.

definitely makes a statement. but also reminds me of all the damn japanese beetles eating my basil. rrrghh. they really are a sweet color though - like the darkly shaded portions of this picture, only with a bronze metallic flake.

so it's the same as the BRZ STI "we won't make an STI version until people buy the regular version" even though the BRZ is geared towards the sporty crowd who want more powah and that's why they aren't selling well enough.
